Welcome to AMSGMC!

Bringing together 100 singers and dancers, the Amsterdam Gay Men’s Chorus is the largest queer chorus in the Netherlands.

 

We’re a diverse and welcoming group of people brought together by a love of singing, dancing and performing. At the heart of AMSGMC is a strong sense of community,  a place where people can meet, make friends, be themselves and, of course, make some great music together.

Our repertoire is fun, varied and always evolving, from pop and musical theatre to jazz, classical and traditional music. We rehearse and perform primarily in English and our community includes both Dutch and international members.

Throughout the year, we perform our main summer and winter productions, alongside smaller concerts, community events, Pride appearances, collaborations and private bookings.

Whether we’re rehearsing on a Wednesday evening or stepping onto a big stage, we want to create performances that bring people together, celebrate queer voices and leave our audiences with a smile.
