Welcome to the Family!
Documentary for Schools
In the summer of 2025 we brought a powerful show to the stage in Amsterdam; Welcome to the Family! The show explored the complex world of queer family life and brought powerful personal stories to life through song and dance.
Motivated by your warm feedback and encouragement, we want to create a short documentary that will serve as a powerful educational resource for teachers in Dutch schools to discuss what it's like growing up as LGBTQ+ in schools today, and to identify how LGBTQ+ pupils can be supported better.
The project has received guidance from COC Nederland, who will help distribute the documentary once it is made, but we need your financial help to make the project a reality. That's why we're crowd funding this project with Go Fund Me.
Your donation -however large or small- can help open hearts and minds in schools, and help LGBTQ+ pupils to get the support they need to grow and flourish.
