Trompettist Gezocht (Piccolo-trompet)
 

Het AMSGMC zoekt een trompettist met ervaring op de piccolo-trompet.

Het gaat om één specifiek muziekstuk (met wellicht meer in overleg) voor onze komende voorstellingen in het Muziekgebouw aan het IJ (Grote Zaal) in Amsterdam op 3 en 4 juli 2026.
 

Het Project

In onze bewerking van Conga door Miami Sound Machine zit naast een gewone trompetpartij ook een specifieke piccolo-trompetpartij. We zoeken iemand die bereid is om met slechts twee repetities deze partij op piccolo-trompet onder de knie te krijgen.
 

Planning & Locatie

  • Locatie: Muziekgebouw aan het IJ, Amsterdam.

  • Generale repetitie: 3 juli.

  • Voorstellingen: 4 juli (twee shows: 15:30 & 20:30).
     

Over Ons

Het AMSGMC bestaat uit een koor van 90 zangers en een dansgroep van 15 man. De band bestaat, naast een professionele pianist, uit ervaren amateurs die gewend zijn een dirigent te volgen.

Lijkt het je leuk om voor twee keer 800 personen te spelen in een volledig geregisseerde voorstelling?
 

Wie zoeken wij?

  • Kun je goed bladmuziek lezen en ben je gewend een dirigent te volgen? Dan horen we graag van je! Bij voorkeur kom je uit de buurt van Amsterdam. Reis, maltijd- en onkosten worden vergoed.

We're looking for a Trumpeter (Piccolo-trumpet)

The AMSGMC is looking for a trumpet player with experience on the piccolo trumpet.

The role is for one specific piece of music (with the possibility of more, subject to consultation) for our upcoming performances at the Muziekgebouw aan het IJ (Main Hall) in Amsterdam on July 3rd and 4th, 2026.

The Project

In our arrangement of Conga by Miami Sound Machine, there is a dedicated piccolo trumpet part alongside the standard trumpet section. We are looking for someone prepared to master this arrangement on the piccolo trumpet with just two rehearsals.
 

Schedule & Venue

  • Location: Muziekgebouw aan het IJ, Amsterdam.

  • Dress Rehearsal: July 3rd.

  • Performances: July 4th (two shows: 15:30 & 20:30).
     

About Us

The AMSGMC features a chorus of 90 singers and a dance troupe of 15. In addition to a professional pianist, our band consists of experienced amateur musicians who are well-versed in following a conductor.

Who are we looking for?

  • Do you read sheet music well and have experience following a conductor? Then we definitely want to hear from you! Ideally, you are based in the Amsterdam area.  Meals, travel and out-of-pocket expenses will be reimbursed.
